Today was a leisurely ride from home to North Ipswich, onto the Brassall to Wulkuraka Bikeway, then home again - 18.5kms. While having a short rest, a few kms from home, I saw that my back tyre was flat. I've replaced and repaired tubes when I was a kid, but never the rear tyre on a geared bike........ I admit, I was a little intimated. I'd had a quick demo from Tim at my local cycle store (99 Bikes Ipswich), on removing and replacing the rear wheel, but was yet to have to do one myself. I DID IT!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!
I'm glad it happened before I start my world tour, because now I know for sure that I can do it :)
I don't know what it is, but I LOVE when I get to ride over a bridge :)
